Dear St. Patrick families,

This past weekend, one of our former students, Kharlos Dews, was seriously injured in a car accident. We ask that you keep Kharlos and his family in your prayers.

Our Fall Book Fair begins next week. This a great opportunity to get quality, affordable books for your children. Proceeds from the Book Fair enable us to stay current with books and up to date learning tools for our school library. The Book Fair will begin Monday, Oct. 3rd, and run through Friday, Oct. 7th. The Book Fair will also be open during our fall Open House on Wednesday, Oct. 5th, from 6 to 7:30 PM.

Our fall Open House will take place Wednesday evening, Oct. 5th, from 6 to 7:30 PM. As last year, there will be representatives from our local Catholic high schools to answer questions and have information available regarding all of the programs in their respective schools. It is never too early to begin looking at your high school options. There will be a rigatoni dinner in the church hall beginning at 5:30 PM that will run through 7 PM. Carryouts are available. Tickets may be purchased in advance in the school office. Imagine That will also be here with school and spiritwear.

The CYO basketball program will begin to hold open gym starting next week. A flyer is being sent home with dates and times.

Interims will be coming home today. Please speak with your child’s teacher if you did not receive one.

Last Friday I met with a group of parents who will be moving forward with our Home and School Association. More information and meeting dates will be available after the organizational meetings are completed.

School will not be in session on Monday, Oct. 10th. That is a diocesan in-service day for our teachers.

Have a great weekend. And, as always ….. GO PANTHERS!
