Dear St. Patrick families,

Happy 4^th of July to all of our families.

This past weekend we were able to celebrate the graduation ceremony of our 8^th grade students. It was wonderful that we were finally able to confer their diplomas to them.

Up and coming will be First Communion and Confirmation. First Communion is scheduled for Saturday, July 11^th, at 1:30 PM. Confirmation is scheduled on Saturday, July 18^th, with ceremonies at 11 AM and 1 PM. Those students will be receiving further information regarding this.

I know the big question on everyone’s mind at this point is what will happen with the opening of the coming school year. The news about coronavirus changes daily and that the number of cases has again been rising.

We continue to monitor the guidelines from the Governor, the Diocese, ODE and the local, state and national health departments. We expect to hear further direction this week. I am meeting with the teaching staff on a regular basis as we prepare for next school year. We will have a definite plan in place that we will be able to share with you. Our number one concern is the health and safety of our students, teachers and staff. Our plans will certainly center around this.

You will be receiving a short survey by email soon. We are interested in your answers concerning next year. The survey will be sent out after Gov. DeWine speaks on Thursday. Please complete and forward your surveys by Tuesday, July 7^th. Your answers will be very helpful as we continue to plan how next year will look.
