Dear St. Patrick families,

Once again we have had to witness another horrific mass school shooting but also an individual school shooting, all within a week’s time. We are heartbroken over these events and we want to keep the families and school faculties in our prayers. It is sad to see this type of senseless tragedy continue. We will continue our quarterly lockdown and other emergency drills to be as prepared as possible in case something would ever happen here. Since we do have two more lockdown drills to perform, I will announce the day in advance when it will happen as to not cause any undo panic or strain on our students and staff.

Our Read to Succeed campaign is off to a great start. We are about four weeks into the eleven week and have already read over 500 books! We should hit our goal of 1.329 books in no time. Please remind your child to read and fill out the book slips. They can get them in their classrooms or in the library. Thank you everyone and keep READING!

Have a great weekend! And, as always ….. GO PANTHERS!
