Dear St. Patrick families,
As they say, there is never a dull moment around here. This past week’s temperatures and humidity are hopefully behind us and we can get back to the business of educating our students. I thank you all for your understanding of us being closed for two days. This building would have been unbearable and it would not have been fair to the staff and the students to remain open. Our next unscheduled day off will have to wait until it snows!
The cheerleading meeting has been rescheduled for next Wednesday, Sept. 12th, at 6 PM in the gym for all girls, grades 3 to 8, and their parents.
Our opening Home and School Association meeting will be next Thursday, Sept. 13th, at 6:30 PM, in the church basement. Everyone is invited to attend.
Our candy sale continues. We have a few cases left in the office. If you would like additional candy, send a note to the office and it will be sent home.
I am looking for someone who would be interested in taking over the lunch time supervision in the cafeteria and other assorted duties. Please call the school office.
The Browns kick off their new season this weekend. It is safe to say it can’t get any worse!!
Have a great weekend. We will be back to business as usual on Monday, which means school uniforms for the students. Hopefully, everything will be back to normal for many weeks to come. And, as always ….. GO PANTHERS!
This week’s shout out goes to the 5th grade. Mrs. Idone reported that 14 students received a 100% on their first spelling pre-test. Way to go 5th grade!
