Dear St. Patrick families,

Today is the last day for uniform shorts. If the weather should change, the students will be permitted to wear shorts until the hot weather would cease.

Halloween is approaching. Our Halloween parade and classroom parties will take place on Friday, Oct. 27th. If you would like to chaperone a classroom party, you must be registered and have completed the Virtus training program. There were instructions in last week’s bulletin outlining the process. Regarding Halloween costumes, I would like the costumes to be in good taste and not offensive, with minimal of blood, guts and gore. If you have a question about a particular costume, please send a picture to office for approval. This year no guns will be permitted as part of a costume. This a reflection of recent events. Also, no masks of Pennywise (the evil clown from the movie It) will be permitted.  Our costumes do not need to attract unwanted attention.

School will not be in session on Monday, Oct. 30th. That is a scheduled in-service day for the teachers.

Tuesday, Oct. 31st, will be our next dress down day. Cost is fifty cents for all students.

The week of Oct. 30th is Red Ribbon Week. A schedule of activities will be coming home.

Next week is Farm Week. Miss Pritts has designed a number of farm related activities that the students  perform in the gym. It will begin on Monday with 2nd grade, followed by 1st grade on Tuesday, with kindergarten on Wednesday, 3rd grade on Thursday and 4th grade on Friday. We invite everyone to visit and enjoy the festivities.
