Dear St. Patrick families,

Today is report card day. All students received report cards. If for some reason your child came home without a report card, please call the office immediately.

Our Thanksgiving food drive begins Monday, Nov. 7th and runs through Friday, Nov. 18th. Please be generous with your donations of canned goods and nonperishable items.

Our conference evening is Wednesday, Nov. 9th, form 3 to 8 PM. Please do not park in the back lot during Latchkey hours. Our Thanksgiving break will be Nov. 23rd through the 25th. School will resume Monday, Nov. 28th. There is a child protection class Thursday, Nov. 10th, at 7 PM in the Captain’s Cabin.

The Home and School’s “Fill a Truck” donation drive, in cooperation with Easter Seals, will be here soon. Drop off times will be Friday, Nov. 11th from 2 to 8 PM; Saturday, Nov. 12th from 4:30 to 6:30 PM; and Sunday Nov. 13th from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM. In addition to clothes, all cloth items (even stained and torn items can be repurposed), comforters, blankets, towels, sheets, shoes and purses will be accepted. Other items are dishes and kitchenware, small appliances such as mixers, blenders, crockpots, toasters, coffee pots and waffle makers. Additionally, small picture frames or wall hanging, small kids’ toys and games, knick-knacks, jewelry, CDs, DVDs and VHS tapes will be accepted. The Home and School will be paid a set fee according to how many pound are brought in.

Tuition statements went home on Tuesday, Nov. 1st. Monthly payments are due on the 15th. There are still families that have not returned their Parent Commitment Form. This is required in order to be in compliance with tuition. Credits for the gift card program should be coming within the next 4 to 6 weeks. If you have purchased gift certificates, you must have an agreement form on file indicating how you want credits applied in order for us to satisfy IRS regulations.

Please call the office if you have any questions. An order form will be coming home next week for our St. Patrick Christmas tee shirt. The students will be permitted to wear their shirt during the month of December instead of a uniform shirt.

Looking further ahead, our Christmas program is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 2nd, at 7 PM in the Kent Roosevelt auditorium. More information will be coming home soon. Have a great weekend. Don’t forget to turn your clocks back one hour on Saturday evening as we “fall back” in autumn. And, as always ….. GO PANTHERS!
