Dear St. Patrick families,
I would like to thank the Home and School Association, and all of our families who helped make our Open House a success. It was also gratifying to see all of our students who attended the 11 AM Mass. Thanks again for everything everyone does for St. Patrick School.
Mrs. Gretsinger will continue to be the contact person for our yearbook for this school year. If you have any photos of field trips, class projects or parties, please email them to pennygretsinger@aol.com. If anyone would like to consider becoming our yearbook contact person, please call or email Mrs. Gretsinger to set up a time to meet with her.
We will celebrate Valentine’s Day on Friday, Feb. 9th. The classroom parties will be in the afternoon. Students may wear red tops with their uniform bottoms. There is also a middle school dance that evening from 7 to 9 in the church basement.
The last day for “Singing Valentines” is Monday, Feb. 5th. Cost is
forty cents each or three for a dollar. Orders may be turned into the homeroom teachers. Donations are also accepted. Checks may be made out to St. Patrick School. Thank you for supporting this annual 7th grade service project.
The February lunch menu has two changes. On Feb. 14th the lunch options are pizza cheese sticks and marinara or PB&J. These are the only options. On Feb. 23rd the lunch options are cheese pizza or PB&J. These are the only two options.
Our “Rainbow” donations totaled $387. Thank you to everyone who donated to the cause.
The Home and School Association is sponsoring a family skate night at the Kent State ice rink on Monday, Feb. 19th. A flyer with information is on the reverse side.
Looking ahead – Ash Wednesday is Feb. 14th. We will be attending Mass that day. School is not in session on Feb. 16th an 19th.
As we conclude Catholic Schools’ Week, thank you to everyone who helps make St. Pat’s the great school that it is. We couldn’t do it without you! And, as always ….. GO PANTHERS!
